On Jan. 30, stakeholders representing virtually every sector of the U.S. economy announced the launch of Partnership for a Better Energy Future, a coalition advocating for a commonsense approach to regulatory policies in order to ensure the continued availability of affordable and reliable energy for American families and businesses.
At the launch, NMA President and CEO Hal Quinn lauded the breadth of the businesses and industries in the coalition, which is critical to address the “shared concern” over EPA policies that will make our electricity supply less diverse, less reliable and more expensive. The coalition is co-chaired by Karen Harbert, president and CEO, the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for 21st Century Energy, and Jay Timmons, president and CEO, the National Association of Manufacturers, and along with NMA, includes over 75 organizations and groups.
