World Class Rare Earths Resource

Rare earths are a hot topic, and for good reason: they have numerous, critical uses, including in aerospace and defense applications. Fortunately, one of the World’s top 10 rare earths projects is in the U.S. Mining Intelligence put American Rare Earths’ Halleck Creek project as number five on its top 10 list. Halleck Creek, located in Wyoming, has 4.7 mt of Total Rare Earth Oxides, and boasts a chemical composition that boost the ESG profile of the site.

“We knew it was going to be big. We didn’t know it was going to be a monster, in the good sense of the word,” said Mel Sanderson, President of American Rare Earths. “We’ve drilled to 150 meters so far, and it is consistently a rich, heavily concentrated deposit to depth.” With such fortunate resources available domestically, we have to support mining activity that makes the resources available for use in our defense industry.
