Copper for Infrastructure

Copper is an essential component of infrastructure, since copper is necessary to power and electrify everything we use – whether in buildings, vehicles or manufacturing operations. And demand is rising dramatically for copper. While copper can be recycled, the exponentially growing demand requires more copper also be mined.

Capstone Copper operates the Pinto Valley mine in Arizona, which includes an operating mill in the same district. Since its first recorded production in 1975, Pinto Valley has produced more than 4 billion pounds of copper. Capstone Copper estimates the mine will produce at least 128 million pounds of copper in 2024. Supporting U.S. mines for the projects ahead and to meet rising demand for copper is the smart choice for securing our future infrastructure needs.
